A Twisted DreamI can feel the heat of the fire radiating against my skin, dancing with the cool wind blowing in off of the lake. It's nights like this that I really enjoy myself and let loose. All inhibitions go away and I'm free for the night. My mind wandered, along with my gaze, across the fire to the guy who I can't help but smile back at. His almost wolfish grin looks eerie as it's lit up by the fire's glow.   
Looking at the girl next to him, I can't help but grimace slightly and look away. My heart has been torn apart enough by the fact that he likes her and not me. Tonight....the truth has got to come out tonight. I know that when I was in A Twisted Dream

Prologue To A DreamThere wasn't much to say about Austin except that he was perfect. Not the perfect that people claim to be because they think they are all that. Not perfect in the sense of being untainted by anything with the exact amounts of all characteristics. No, none of those. He was perfect in the sense that he was funny, charming, and kind. He was the kind of guy who would be around to help pick up someone when they were down by making them laugh so hard their sides hurt. He was the kind of guy that wouldn't lie to a person's face just to make them feel better. On top of all of that, he had gorgeous eyes and his smile was absolutely stunning. My heart beats faster when I see your smile,  it goes even faster when I know your smiling at me.  I love you quirky personality,  and the way your laugh makes me smile.

A Poem Never Meant To Be SeenConfusion sinks in,  being pumped through veins of adrenaline,  heart racing as my mind runs through it all,  my body going on auto pilot as we walk.  Make up your mind,  this suspense and confusion is killing me.  You say that I'm clingy and that you like someone else,  then you act like you might actully like me.  This heart has been hurt so many times before,  I don't know how much more pain I can take.  Yes, I like you a lot,  more than I can recall liking anyone else,  but your actions don't speak louder then words,  if anything, I'd prefer your words.  They'd probably A Poem Never Meant To Be Seen
